Company context
The Company's proprietary formula, CXUTM, is an ECM scaffold device candidate protected by patents (collectively, the "Patents") in Australia, and the European Union (validated in Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, and the Netherlands), Japan, and the USA, which form a critical barrier to entry and secure our competitive advantage in regenerative medicine. Origin and ownership of the Company's core patent rights were assigned from the University. Patent protection in Canada for such proprietary ECM scaffold technology remains pending.
