(NYSE/TSX: MUX) today announced that it has been added to the Russell 2000 ® Index as part of the June 2026 Russell Reconstitution. The reconstitution becomes effective upon the opening of US equity markets on June 29, 2026. Membership in the Russell 2000® Index is based on inclusion in the broad-market Russell 3000® Index. The Russell 3000® Index represents approximately 98% of the investable US equity market by market capitalization and serves as the foundation for the Russell 1000® and Russell 2000® indexes. The Russell 1000® Index measures the performance of the largest 1,000 companies within the Russell 3000® Index, while the Russell 2000® Index measures the performance of the smallest 2,000 companies within that universe. McEwen shares trade on both the NYSE and TSX under the ticker MUX. McEwen provides its shareholders with exposure to a growing base of gold and silver production in addition to a very large copper development project, all in the Americas. The gold and silver mines are in prolific mineral-rich regions of the world: the Cortez Trend in Nevada, USA, the Timmins district of Ontario and Flin Flon in Manitoba, Canada, and the Deseado Massif in Santa Cruz province, Argentina.
