The $230,000 increase in non-interest expense for the three months ended September 30, 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, resulted from increases of $138,000 in compensation and benefits, $100,000 in other real estate owned write-down expense, $76,000 in professional fees, $65,000 in audit and examination fees, $45,000 in advertising, and $11,000 in deposit insurance premium, partially offset by decreases of $100,000 in data processing, $46,000 in occupancy and equipment, $29,000 in franchise and bank shares tax, $17,000 in amortization of core deposit intangible, $9,000 in other expenses, and $4,000 in loan and collection.
